There is the first Ukrainian servomotor!

Electronpobutprylad plant” - a subsidiary enterprise of
PJSC ” Concern-Electron” , launched a
series and shipped the first batch of servomotors made to order from a German
company. And this is the first servomotor of Ukrainian production! Until now, such
innovative products have not been manufactured in Ukraine.
The customer of the product is German company RIEDL Gmbh - a world-known
manufacturer specializing in the production of state-of-the-art robotic systems
of pharmacy dispensers. The day before, with the participation of a
representative of the German company, a new engine successfully passed bench
tests.
The main difference between servomotors and conventional electric motors is that in automatic control systems they control the speed, torque and position or a combination of these parameters and thus achieve high accuracy of positioning and repeatability of processes specified by the software. That is, a pharmacist receives an order from a client, enters the name of the drug in a computer system and the automatic robot removes the drug from the shelves of the warehouse complex and dispenses the claimed drug at the pharmacy cash register. The whole operation takes only 6-8 seconds.

The first batch of servomotors manufactured by "Electronpobutprylad”
is 240 units, and an annual program
includes deliveries of 3000 units. The development of new products opens up new
markets for "Electronpobutprylad plant”: servodrives combine work efficiency,
including high efficiency and
productivity and are becoming more common in mechanical engineering, are used
in various automated control systems (logistics warehouses, CNC machines,
robotic systems, etc.) ".
